In this context, it was becoming increasingly difficult for the facility owner to maintain efficient management and optimal quality of care. Eliminating paper was becoming essential, and computerization seemed to be the key.  <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Mongeau was therefore looking for a system that would allow him to manage his residences remotely and improve profitability. He also wanted to provide his nurses with an effective tool that would enable them to access resident records at any time, thereby better preparing their visits and maximizing their travel. However, since most of his care staff had rudimentary or even no computer skills, transitioning to care management software proved complex. Hence the importance of choosing an easy-to-use solution.   <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"20\" data-lineheight=\"30px\">SOFI: The Ideal Candidate for Villa Notre-Dame<\/h2>\n<p>It was during events organized by the RQRA that the Mongeau family became acquainted with SOFI, and the connection was immediate. SOFI was the simplest and most intuitive solution, and the perfect candidate to facilitate the transition (and adoption!) of a new operating method for their care staff who were less experienced with computers. <\/p>\n<p>The fact that SOFI stores data in the cloud also weighed heavily in the decision. No need to purchase and manage servers, perform periodic software updates, or create backups&#8230; With SOFI, information is already stored outside the residences, and backups are automatically created every 15 minutes in a highly secure environment. Since Villa Notre-Dame wanted to house seniors, not servers, the decision was easy!  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"20\" data-lineheight=\"30px\">More Efficient Management with SOFI<\/h2>\n<p>For the residence owner, it was love at first sight:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;SOFI is a wonderful tool that automatically creates work routines!&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/em>-Richard Mongeau, Owner of Villa Notre-Dame<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Indeed, since its arrival at Villa Notre-Dame, the team has witnessed the benefits that SOFI brings them every day. Gone are the days when paper ruled. All resident data is entered into the software or digitized, depending on the circumstances. No more unnecessary steps. From now on, nurses can access information anywhere from their tablets, thus avoiding superfluous travel.    <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"20\" data-lineheight=\"30px\">Villa Notre-Dame: A Dynamic Environment Where Life Is Good<\/h2>\n<p>Located in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Villa Notre-Dame offers a family-oriented, safe living environment that promotes the maintenance of autonomy. The residence group can accommodate up to 100 people on a permanent or temporary basis. It offers complete accommodation, room, and board services to elderly or retired individuals, whether they are autonomous, experiencing mild loss of autonomy, or convalescing.  <\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Since we have been using the SOFI care management software, we have received nothing but praise from our CISSS and all healthcare professionals regarding the management and monitoring of our residents.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n-Mr. Mongeau<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Today, the team has easy access to all necessary information and is able to provide better continuity of care between the nursing therapeutic plan (PTI), the work routine of patient care attendants (PAB), and the specific tasks they must complete. Finally, thanks to resident photos available in SOFI, administrative staff know their residents better and are able to interact with them in a more relevant and personal manner.
