The SOFI electronic care record delivers time savings and improved communication.<\/h2>\n

Easy to use, SOFI now offers considerable benefits to the G\u00eete du Bel \u00c2ge, whose staff see the advantages every day. With the electronic care record, the days when information had to be copied in several places are over. Daily tasks\u2014including care provided to residents\u2014are now carried out more quickly, and there is better communication between nurses, orderlies, and managers. Thanks to SOFI, the various stakeholders can access a resident\u2019s medical information quickly at any time, whether it is blood glucose levels or blood pressure. Families receive answers to their questions more quickly and feel more reassured. <\/p>\n

Moreover, as SOFI is continuously improved in step with changing realities, Mr. Cloutier now sees just how much this feature represents a considerable advantage. The software increasingly meets his needs, without his having to worry about it or pay additional fees. A major asset in an environment that is constantly evolving. <\/p>\n

At the heart of the issue: an inefficient management system undermining service quality<\/h2>\n

While implementing care management software can greatly improve productivity, it is still necessary to choose the right one. Ask the G\u00eete du Bel \u00c2ge, which had been using an outdated tool for several years\u2014one that did not meet its needs well and was difficult to operate. A situation that disadvantaged residents, for whom the support left much to be desired. With software improvements slow to arrive, it became imperative for the G\u00eete du Bel \u00c2ge to replace it with a more up-to-date solution, better suited to day-to-day realities and able to deliver on its promises. <\/p>\n

SOFI, the obvious choice for the G\u00eete du Bel \u00c2ge<\/h2>\n

With the firm conviction that SOFI was THE solution for them, Ms. Marilou Drouin-Boucher, Director of Nursing at the G\u00eete du Bel \u00c2ge, recommended this software to Mr. Cloutier. Ms. Drouin-Boucher had the opportunity to experience, in another residence, all the benefits that SOFI offers to care staff. <\/p>\n

A single demonstration was enough to convince the team and the owner of the G\u00eete du Bel \u00c2ge. What won them over? Its intuitive navigation and ease of use\u2014two essential qualities for encouraging orderlies and nurses to adopt a new work tool. The written and video support provided by the care software was also another significant advantage for management: <\/p>\n

Located in Sherbrooke, the private residence G\u00eete du Bel \u00c2ge welcomes semi-independent seniors experiencing a loss of physical or cognitive autonomy. The residence includes 82 rooms under contract with the I.U.G.S. and 16 private rooms. Personal and nursing home care is provided to residents in collaboration with the CLSC, and preparatory training is given to orderlies (PAB) who join the team. <\/p>\n
