The Challenge: Facilitating Communication with Families<\/h2>\n
The management’s objective? Efficient residence management to ensure the quality of services provided to residents and to be accountable to family members. However, with over 60 employees and care services offered 24\/7, it became increasingly difficult for managers to have a comprehensive overview of daily operations at all times and to ensure the quality of services rendered. Not to mention that the residence was not immune to the widespread trend and had to contend with a relatively high staff turnover rate while trying at all costs to empower its various teams. <\/p>\n
Another constraint: Le Havre du Trait-Carr\u00e9 used Primmo software from Hopem. For efficiency, the residence needed to ensure that the chosen care management software solution could exchange information with the existing tool. This is exactly what SOFI residence management software offers. <\/p>\n

Inviting and easy to use for Le Havre’s staff, the SOFI information system was a clear winner, offering the most complete integration of the various care and service processes provided by the residence. Furthermore, with its cloud<\/em>-based solution, IT equipment\u2014as well as its maintenance and periodic updates\u2014becomes superfluous. And the icing on the cake: SOFI has been compatible with Primmo since September 2017. For all these reasons, SOFI became THE obvious choice. <\/p>\n

Thanks to its key performance indicators, dashboards, statistics, and reports, SOFI fosters a culture centered on continuous improvement. The software increases the visibility of daily activities for all stakeholders in the residence\u2014whether leisure, food service, or nursing and administrative staff\u2014and allows for better response to the personalized needs of each resident. <\/p>\n
The monitoring features offer management better control over the quality of care and services provided, and allow for faster updates to families\u2014for example, regarding the regularity with which staff bathe their parents or apply the urinary protocol. SOFI also promotes better management of falls and mobility assistance. <\/p>\n
For staff, the software allows for adjusting the workload of beneficiary attendants (PABs) as needed. And with it, no free passes! When an email is sent to the team, it’s easy to know who consults it… and who doesn’t! SOFI then allows for enforcement by gathering the facts that will lead to disciplinary action. <\/p>\n
